Just come back from a very interesting trip a la dentist where I gave him my dental wish list (and some necessities)

He quoted me for -

upper alignment (have pokey 'fangs' that I hate)

replacement crown for canine

whitening of all teeth plus home kits

3 replacemnt white fillings for big ol' black ones at the bottom

New crown for broken tooth

£3209

Just checking back thru some of the teeth threads that seems quite a good price. What do you think?

Can also pay monthy over 36 months with low interest rate.........would be about £100 a month

sounds bargainous.

I was quoted £3K for Invisalign- top and bottom. I paid £400 for teeth whitening. £400 ish is average for crowns. My dentist charges around £70 for a filling.

I asked about Invisalign and he said it takes about 18 months to move teeth. I woudl have a wire at the front for 12-18 weeks and then a permanent wire behind the front teeth to make sure they won't move

I have been working out my sums, seeing what I can afford

thanks for replying btw

I paid £1500 for 2 veneers at £500 each and £500 for custom whitening trays x 2 and 2 sets of whitening gel. I have since brought this for roughly £30 for 3 tubes online compared to my dentist charging £100!

I thought long and hard about getting the work done and am so glad I did, wished I had done it ages ago. A stranger commented on my nice teeth yesterday.

Worth every penny. Hope you are pleased with the results Smile

My husband had a 2k worth of cosmetic dentistry a couple of years ago, there was several porcelain crowns, a bridge and some whitening. It was 2k well spent it made such a huge difference to his self confidence and you'd never know now that they weren his own teeth.

This probabaly isn't an option but one of dps workmates went to Poland and got a whole mouth full of hollywood smile for £300. DP is rather jealous. And this was last year and has had no problems with them. Makes me cry having to pay £32 for a filling for dp just the other day.

Kickmewhenimdown what will he do if he has Problems with the work that was done in Poland? Does the guarantee include travel back there?

Ps, your name autocorrects to kick wage indians
