Dress for a wedding in May - HELP!

I need a dress for good friends wedding, ideally something long as i HATE my legs and it will (pro) be too hot for tights in May?

I am only 5" 1 so I do struggle with long dresses but I am willing to have the right dress altered if needed.

Not a particularly formal do but they are good friends so i would like to make a big effort.

Can spend up to £100.

Any ideas?
