I have always avoided high waisted jeans, assuming I would look like this in them.
However, in post baby, flabby tummy desperation I bought a pair of high waisted jeans from Next. From NEXT! Shoot me now. But I figured that even this look was better than people asking me when I was due as I lugged my 3-week old around with me. 
And you know what? They are brilliant! I wish I had known about them years ago. They are really flattering and not too mumsy and they are comfy and everything.
