I know it's not just me searching for the perfect shade.
Found one today which is quite close:
Maybelline Forever Strong in Rosy Sand. They've got a few good plain colours.

I've got a great light coffee colour from BarryM, I'm not impressed with the quality of the varnish but love the colour so still use it. Its a hard colour to find I think, I looked and looked but settled for that.
Also got a nice one from No.7 but its a bit darker, so use that on my toes now.

For a cheapie , try Barbara daly for tesco in suede. She has some really nice plain shades.

Top sho cafe au lait.
Tbh some are a bit morgue make up colour.

Look up Porchester Square by Nails Inc. Easily the prettiest nude/"greige" shade I've ever come across.

Lovely, everyday neutral shade

I live nail polish in this shade. My total fave is this It dried really qiuckly and the colour is lovely. People ask me every day what colour it it. You can the NYC range in superdrug and this polish is only £1.79 Total bargain.
