Was thinking of getting an OPI base coat in town later.
Any recommendations?
Opi is quite pricey so if anyone knows of a good one but maybe not so expensive.
Also nail varnish remover. Mine is cheap as chips stuff but i think its not helping the condition of my nails. They peel loads!!
Do i have to spend £££ to get a good one that wont ruin my nails.
Thanks

I like the cutex mail varnish remover, they have a few different ones, I use the 'nourishing' one which is good fit my nails. Not too pricey either.

The orly base coat rubberized bonder is good and CND Stickey (if they still do it) the best remover I find is the Lidl pink one and I have access to salon formulas, it wipes the floor with the best of them.

i use a crystal nail file and that has really stopped my nails peeling, also avoplex oil from opi

Ive got avoplex and nail envy. its OK but not amazing.

I have just bought some cutex nail varnish remover with acetone in it.
I also took sedgieloo's advice and got Orly base coat.
It came with a primer as well..

i have no idea which order to use them in and the pack has no instructions.
it contains bonder/ basecoat
primetime/primer
topcoat- i know this goes on top of varnish Smile

I know you have already got one, but I have a L'Oreal one which is surprisingly good. It's purple in the bottle but goes on clear and is fairly inexpensive.

I tried a Lidl remover last year and it was useless, had to scrub and scrub to remove the polish, I ended up throwing it away. Cutex do seem good but I get indecisive when faced with all the different varieties of it.

I bought the orly set, so far so good.
Currently im wearing nail primer, rubberised base coat Hmm. 2 coats mavala nail varnish then top coat!
I reckon it will still have chipped by tomorrow Wink
