BUT-dont you need to try loads on first? So do i order loads of pairs and then send them back?

MissChief · 07/02/2006 15:01

size 8 too and altho theoretically normally get shoes up to this size, they often only have 1 pair which'll go super-quick and there's only every complete dross left over in the sales! I drool over the smaller shoes in the sales - I mean come on, how many pairs of cheap, stylish (& dainty ) shoes can a girl with size 5s or less need? You're lucky you little things, shoes both look so much better on you and you have more choice!

My small feet girlfriends have soooooooooo many shoes!
I have;
Pair of wellies
Doctor Marten Boots for dail wear, school run, shopping blah blah blah
Black very pointy high heeled ankle boots when pigs fly and i go out for a drink.
Thats my footwear!!!!!!!!!!!1

..sound like me! I'd love to be dainty & short enough to wear heels more too - so much more flattering!
In another life, I'd be a dainty slip of a thing - 5'3" or so with feet so tiny that cinderella's slipper would fit them..

alexsmum · 07/02/2006 19:41

so that men would think 'oh she needs looking after' and carry your shopping, and lift heavy things for you instead of them thinking'she's big enough and ugly enough to look after herself'!

florenceuk · 08/02/2006 11:28

alexsmum, if only! No DH just thinks, why am I obsessed with looking for shoes...

I wish I had size 37 feet (size 4) and then I would be in shoe heaven.

Hi Everyone ,
I haven't looked on here for a few days Wow, lots of posts. This is quite a long one
I get shoes from all over the place. Heels I tend to look on the high street, I have some great red wedge sandals for M and S and black heels from Tesco but these really are party shoes.
I have a pair of ballerina type from Ravel- flat with elastic which are quite smart.
I wear two pairs of DMs a lot but both are patterned and quite jazzy. I?m a primary teacher so don?t need smart shoes for the office as such
My favourite shoes at the moment are a pair of red ?mary janes? from Ecco, with Velcro straps they look quite smart under a pair of trousers but are SO comfy.
I quite like geox trainers.
And I have a lovely pair of slip on shoes (mule type) from salamander. I now have the philosophy that if I see a nice pair of shoes and I can afford them I will seriously consider them, the Ecco shoes were a bit like this and they were a great buy, (this year however some of the styles are a bit weird, they now have a bigger shop on oxford street with kids shoes in )
Abroad is great, I bought two pairs of sandals in Barcelona last year, but I do have good pair of Ecco sandals too.
There is a good little shop in Crystal place where I got the salamanders from

Thanks for your list florenceuk. Where is the Wimbledon shop? I?m in Croydon!

I?ll put a couple of links on
ecco
geox
La Redoute and Verbadet sometimes have nice bits on too, but they aren?t very office like.
Thanks for posting everyone, sorry I can?t offer sites for bigger feet but I will keep my eyes open
