Ignore the other thread Grin

I have the grey pepperberry dress and have just ordered this one as well

The grey one fits brilliantly and seems to have magic powers as it's rather flattering, but I have NO idea what to wear it with. Should would be easy enough I suppose, but feel the need for some colour with it to brighten it up a bit.

Alternatively, it's the blue one for a wedding - easier for accessories, but which one would you go for?

Am v puzzled Confused and I never wear dresses..

Hmm.. am tempted by this one but fear I will look like a badly upholstered sofa if I wear something that flowery.

Confused

I think if you go for the grey dress then you either need coral or turquoise accessories in order to 'lift' the colour. It's a lovely cut and style. This is the shade I was thinking of, but heels as opposed to flat pumps.

I would say the blue one is more wedding-y and would probably feel like more of a special dress, that's the one I would choose anyway.

I'm afraid I don't like the kimono style one at all, it does look rather like a sofa! And a dodgy one at that! Grin

The border print one. With shoes something like this or maybe these?

JarethTheGoblinKing · 30/03/2012 17:43

Thanks.. I am leaning towards the blue one, just more dressy isn't it.

But then its not here yep, so will have to see if it fits first :)

Oooh oooh I had a thread about this very same grey Pepperberry dress!

I bought it for a wedding, but can't wear it now as it turns out to be too close to the bridesmaid dress colour. It is a super flattering fit though, and I actually prefer the grey one to the blue one you've linked too. Also considered the floral one, but saw that in the shop and it doesn't look as nice in real life as in the photo. Go for the grey :) !

Coral is a great suggestion, those Dune shoes would be perfect. I also thought about turquoise and raspberry, was very keen on these shoes and also considered these .

Will try to link to the other thread, as there were several suggestions from shoe gurus...

What about something like this colour with the grey dress?

I LOVE this dress and am debating ordering it.

Inertia Great links - glad to hear it is lovely on.

I think there are loads of shoes you could wear with this dress. Black, coral, pink. I may go for red :)

Eggrules · 03/04/2012 21:05

Grey dress has been despatched. Can't wait Grin

4forks - love the shoes, that was a very similar colour to what I was thinking of. I've just bought an eyeshadow (green/teal) that I think I will use as a base for accessories because it's so gorgeous and will go with the dress so well.

The flowery dress turned up today. Didn't even make it out of the box as it was just wrong

Yah, sold out in my size! Was hoping to do a sneaky copy. Damn,

Think coral would look fab with the grey.

Eggrules · 04/04/2012 16:58

It arrived today and I love it. Very flattering. Colour is lighter than I expected and so I may go for teal accessories rather than red. I have never bought anything from Pepperberry and I am impressed with the fit.

Thanks Inertia and Jareth.

See what I mean about magic powers? Not sure what it is, but it just works

Look less appley in this dress for sure. I love the length and colour. May need to add a stitch in the crossover. Can't wait to wear it. Ta for the thread Jareth.

I also find jersey Minuet Petite dresses fit really well on curves. I have Violet dress. I am 5"5" and would not consider myself petite btw. Rackhams/ House of Fraser carry the range. Worth a try on, especially when the sale is on.
