Smart wedding-suitable outfit for young baby?

My friend (not on MN) has just had a little boy (nine weeks old, in 0-3mo size clothes) and wants something smart for him to wear to a wedding in her family next week. We have looked in Next, TKMaxx and a couple of other places (Monsoon I think) that we have seen when wandering around and not found anything. Most clothes seem to be for older babies but she really wants something nice as it's her close sibling and they would appreciate it, even if it's just for a couple of pictures!

She is going shopping either this evening or tomorrow in a last-ditch attempt and it's really bugging me that we can't find anything so I thought I'd post on here as I don't have children and haven't got the first clue where else to look. She can get to George (Asda), Sainsburys, Boots, a Gap Outlet, M&S and Next. Alternatively a website that does one or two day delivery would be great (wedding is sometime next week). She doesn't do designer clothes as he's growing so fast - sensible prices but nice quality is what she prefers.

If this isn't the right place to post please let me know and I'll ask MN to move it somewhere better. Thank you for any ideas you can give :)

How about John Lewis online? Or an independent local baby shop?

Have you looked at the Mamas and Papas website? I looked there last year when ds was very small and they had a few nice things, pricey though.

My DS was at a couple of weddings last year when he was about 6 months old.
I got him some khaki chino sort of trousers from H&M and he had cotton shirts - one was from Primark and the other was from Mothercare.

The Mothercare one was gorgeously soft! They do next day delivery (if you pay more)

I would imagine Gap would have some cute trousers and shirts that would do fine. I also had little bootee shoes on which kind of finished the look and made him look smart (IMO!) though he was generally a shoeless and sockless baby where possible!
