Has anyone tried these BB creams? Any good?

I was thinking of trying out a BB cream (probably L'Oreal's) but didn't want to find it was a complete waste of money like the last magic cream I bought so have any mners tried them?

I bought the boots no7 one a couple of weeks ago (with my £5 off voucher) I really like it. I got the one for dry skin and I like how my skin feels with it. It looks better but also feels smoother than without and doesn't feel as though I am wearing make up, just that I have better skin iyswim?

I bought the garner one, it's ok but not a 'wonder' cream in anyway. I don't think I'll buy it again, I'll just stick to my normal Clinique foundation.

I bought the Garnier one when it first came out and I love it. I wear it every day and hardly ever use foundation anymore. Will probably switch to one with an SPF for the summer though.

Loving the Garnier one wear it under my foundation and need a lot less foundation IYKWIM.

Wear it on it's own if I am not working and having a casual day.

Impressed.

I love the garnier one,just bought another tube today,for me it's fab as it gives more coverage than a tinted moisturiser but not as cakey as a foundation.If you use facebook then they have a page on there and I got free samples from them before buying the full price stuff.

I have the no7 one for oily skin. I mix it with a light foundation wjen my skin looks a bit dodgy, but otherwise I love it.

Oracle, I use the no7 radiance boost cream/serum stuff first, then bb straight away and it goes on really well and makes my skin look amazing!

Boots 17 one is very silicony, very slippery when you put it on. Better for oily skins I think as not very moisturising.

I like the 17 one and my skin is oily. I'm thinking of trying the Sanctuary version now.

I got a free sample of the L'oreal one in a magazine. I hadn't heard of BB cream before so was surprised by the consistency. Felt nice on my skin.

What does BB mean, and what does it (claim to) do?

Beauty balm I think. They are an inbetween tinted moisturiser and foundation and have spf, skin serum and something else I think.
