Vintage/Retro hairdresser in Manchester

My go-to occasion hair guru is Nina Butkovich-Budden. I'm looking for similar retro styling in Manchester for my brother's wedding. My dress is late 50's in style and I want a look to go with it. Does anyone know of a good stylist in central Manchester who could whip up an authentic retro up-do?

I don't know of any vintage hairdressing specialist in Manchester but have you thought about asking in Afflecks ? I would imagine that someone there would be able to recommend someone suitable.

I have no idea I'm afraid as I'm based in London and Nina is a very good friend of mine, so also my "go to hair guru", but you could try posting on the forum at www.whatkatiedid.com/forum as there are vintage/retro enthusiasts from all over the place on there. Someone may be able to point you in the right direction.
