Dress suggestions - gamine or boho or urban style?

Hello all, looking for help to find a nice dress for a party in one of the styles mentioned. I tend to wear a mix of these styles an am just not comfy in a LBD and heels for example.

Please help. I 've just had my third baby, so have lost touch with how to dress myself for sophisticated socialising!

The shops are full of pretty little dresses with Peter Pan collars - from TopShop to comptoir de cotonniers and beyond (depending on how much you want to spend).

You could dress that style up or down with jackets in various styles and high shoes or the desert boot/cowboy boot low ankle boots or even ballet flats.

That's just a starter for 10 to try and get other people posting and your response as to whether that is the sort of thing you're after!

Are you a Joe Brown fan? Must say I fell in love with half their current catalogue....

Their online site doesn't seem to have as many dresses as there are in the catalogue, so if you want mine, you are welcome.

Loving the PP collar dresses and skater dresses. Exactly the kind of thing that suits me and my shape.

I've also sent for the Joe Browns catalogue too, so thanks both of you for the suggestions.

Take a look at Oliver Bonas too. They stock Emily & Finn dresses which sound the kind of thing you are looking for :)

What does gamine mean? Sorry to hijack your thread...

Monsoon Fusion also does gamine dresses so might be worth taking a look there.
