Recommend me some Clinique so I can get my bonus gift

I want to buy the 7 day scrub cream.

So I need to buy one more thing (makeup or skincare) to get the free gift (and I really want that eyeshadow palette).

What is the best Clinique "thing" out there?

I already use their mascara but I have just started a new tube and it seems a bit boring to just stock up on that.

the airbrush under eye concealer is good as is the tinted moisturiser

ggirl · 24/03/2012 16:46

also the sunblocks are good

I'm not a lipstick wearer but I love their Almost Lipsticks. They are sort of like a tinted lip balm but with plenty of sheer pigment. I recommend the Black Honey shade

Makeminealarge · 24/03/2012 16:47

I recently got the gift! Ask at counter what products are best for your skin. I bought clarifying lotion ( what I originally went in for) which I love to clear my skin of impurities, but also bought super moisture soak (sp?!) little pink round tub that's a gel to super hydrate dry skin that can v problematic. Since first use I SWEAR this is prob the best 30 quid I have ever spent! Will last ages also. Doubt I'll try any other hydrating moisturiser after this little find! X

Thanks for the suggestions - I am feeling like makeup is more "fun" to buy than skincare stuff, it's more like "this is a nice thing" rather than "my skin is not good enough" - plus you don't have to then keep buying it :)

Am big clinique user and my best recommendations are super balanced foundation and gentle foaming cleanser. have tried every other foundation under sun and always come back to this. Cleanser lasts for ages and is lovely.

MargueritaaPracatan · 24/03/2012 17:21

Even better foundation. THE best I've used and yep, includes the sainted Chanel one! I can also rec. the balm glosses.

BusinessTrills · 24/03/2012 17:34

WHich foundation - I assume they have a lot?

I don't really wear foundation in everyday life.

If you're not really a foundation wearer, maybe tinted moisturiser - I really like their moisture surge one.

My favourite foundation is the supermoisture make up - nice and sheer.

i love their glow loose powder every day, it has a very slight shimmer, have used it for years and bought it as presents for lots of friends. highly recommend it.

Downbytheocean · 24/03/2012 18:31

love should be use!

BusinessTrills · 24/03/2012 18:33

I like the idea that you love it every day :)

The pot of eyeliner grey. Almost a gel. Plus the vitamin c kip rush. Not a sticky gloss. Very natural.

BusinessTrills · 24/03/2012 18:37

kip rush? :o

I normally buy 2 small clarifying lotions to get the gift but this time I brought just one and the face suntan cream as going on holiday soon.

ReapWhatYouSew · 24/03/2012 19:13

High impact mascara is excellent

ReapWhatYouSew · 24/03/2012 19:15

Sorry just seen you already use their mascara and have a full one. I also really like their airbrush under eye concealer....prefer to touché éclat

MargueritaaPracatan · 24/03/2012 19:17

It's called 'Even Better Foundation', if that's what you meant, MsNorbury!

BusinessTrills · 24/03/2012 19:25

I use the curling mascara because it doesn't come off - they call it "special warm water removal" or something.

A chubby stick lipstick

MuslinSuit · 24/03/2012 21:33

Their cream blush sticks are fab.

Moisture Surge moisturiser in the pink tub is my favourite product ever. Definitely recommend this. The Moisture Surge tinted moisturiser is also very nice. Makeup-wise I love Clinique blusher (I have the blushing blush one in a silver case), chubby stick coloured lip balm is lovely, lipsticks and superbalm glosses are nice... I usually stock up on my skincare to get the gifts but this time I got the Quickliner Intense eyeliner and that's probably the only thing from Clinique I have been really disappointed with! I have seen good reviews of it on here, but on me it smudged all over the place, migrated under my eyes and just looked shocking! So that's one non-recommendation to balance my recommendations [:o]

LucyManga · 25/03/2012 11:37

I dont know if I am too late but:

Super Defense moisturiser
Moisture Surge (great if you have dry skin)
The Factor 30 facial sunscreen is nice.
LOVE Clinique fake tan. Best I have ever tried.
Chubby stick lip stains.
Super Balm (lush).

mrsebojones · 25/03/2012 12:43

I have been huge Clinique fan since age 15 and am now 35...

Moisture surge tinted moisturiser
Super Rescue night moisturiser
Comforting facial wash
Liquid mild facial soap
Chubby sticks
Super balm in watermelon
