Best summer bag for my honeymoon?

I'm after a summer bag which I can take to the South of France on my honeymoon: kind of a large tote, smart enough to take out for dinner, but equally ok to to chuck various bits in and take wandering round Montpellier and Carcassone.

Ideally a light colour and something I can use when I get home as a bag for the rest of the summer.

Any ideas?

Yes that is the style. I think there are cheaper versions of that model.

There are some cnavas bags that are more casual and cheaper.

What about a Longchamp les pilages bag?

I'm not too keen on going for canvas as it marks so easily, I'd prefer leather if possible
