Home hair dye that won't damage enamel bath

Okay, this might not be helpful at all but:

have you thought about not doing it in the bathroom? I've found it easier in the past to rinse hair under kitchen tap as it's a mixer tap (can adjust temp) and higher (don't have to bend as far). Then just give it a good clean after.

I now go to the local training college, they only charge £10 for a full head colour and cut (my hair is really thick so it normally takes 2 packets anyway). The girls are really professional, they are being assessed by a tutor, and they have to be 'senior' students to be allowed to colour hair anyway. Been a few times, I have lots of grey (actually, it's more like white Shock ) and have been very pleased. Might be worth you calling local training place to find out, they are desperate for more models at our local college...
