My poor mum has just used her final bit of her Nivea Oil free moisturising fluid. It's been discontinued, she's tried getting in touch with Nivea with no luck. There is some on Ebay at a hugely inflated price, which I'll get her if we can't find it (she's on a very, very tight budget) but I was wondering if any of you had seen any of it anywhere, any shops near you? Looks like this

She tried Simple as an alternative, but it made her eyes stream! Seems to have very sensitive skin (and won't listen to me saying stop using soap to wash your face, she's used baby soap on her face for 40 years apparently and wont change!). Any other alternatives of cheap products for very very sensitive skin appreciated- I've suggested using almond oil or something liek that but again, won't change! Needs a product.

Thanks!

On Amazon reviews people are saying the same and the only alternative one person has found that is ok is Olay Beauty Fluid Sensitive.

I switched to Olay double action sensitive when I was PG as my skin flared up to everything. Is about a fiver I think and available as a cream or fluid. May be worth a try. But yes, soap is not good for sensitive skin- how About a sensitive Dove bar? They are good value and stop my skin getting too dry

My friend who has very sensitive skin uses the moisturiser from m&s in the green tube. £3 ish.

Thanks all for the replies. I've told her about the Olay one, she hasn't tried it so will go to Superdrug as it's on offer. I'll look for the M&S one too, there isn't an M&S near her but if I get it I can send it.

Has she tried Nivea Visage Oil-Free Moisturising Day Cream? It looks like it's the new variation on the pil free lotion, I saw it in Boots a little while ago.

pollyblue I think she has, problem is she prefers a fluid rather than a cream. Not sure why!
