Tiny red spots on my arms

Anybody know what causes them and how to get rid of them?! As you may be able to tell from the number of posts recently, I'm trying to get groomed!

I had quite spotty arms and the way i got rid of them was to exfoliate regularly with body scrub in the shower, then use moisteriser after shower in the monrning and before bed :)

Are they bumpy as well as red (almost like goose bumps)? If so it could be something called keratosis pilaris, a quick google image search will give you plenty of examples. Dove Pro Age nourishment body lotion might help (look for the normal/dry skin version that contains lactic acid) along with dry body brushing/exfoliating. You could also try Eucerin Dry Skin Intensive 10% w/w Urea treatment lotion.

Just like that! Comes and goes but it's getting more noticable. I've tried the exfoliating in the bath but must remember to moisturise after.
