I'm 19 weeks pg and my skin has erupted. My skin is always pretty rubbish but I have been using Origins Mega mushroom along with Exfoliating Pads and Modern Friction Exfoliator with salicylic acid in it. Basically my skincare regime is loaded with salicylic acid and it has worked but now i'm pregnant I can't use it.
4 weeks ago I went to clinique and ended up buying the blemish 3 step system, plus moisture surge to combat the drying effect of 3 step and even better serum. Spent a hundred quid and my skin is SHIT, if anything its worse. i have huge spots under the skin that take ages to come to the surface and they are really angry. I phoned them and they told me to come back to Debenhams to show them. I've stopped using it but i'm so bewildered at what to do next. I'm at the point I don't want to go over the door!
Has anyone used Clarisonic?Any suggestions at what to use next??

I'm no skin guru at all but one thing I have experience of is rubbish skin during pregnancy starting mid 2nd tri onwards. I suspect they may ask you to come along to see what else they can send you home with (I may be wrong and you'll get a refund!) which would still be wrong as the constantly changing hormone levels can mean that your response to products is not the same as it would be if you tried them again a few months after your pregnancy or even a few months later in the current pregnancy.

My own experiences are that you have to write off the £100 and not spend further hundreds tried to achieve what can't be done. Others of course may have the miracle answer, in which case I will be watching with interest. sorry, I know how desperate you feel and this really doesn't help.

I get terrible hormonal acne (all the time!) and what has fixed it is using an oily cleanser ( I use eve lom which i take off with a cloth to exfoliate my skin), ditching the moisturiser and using serum only.

As your skin is changing i would suggest going to space nk or around the Debenhams counters and asking for lots of samples. There's no point in spending loads on something unless you are sure your skin is going to like it!
