Not sure if it's garish or quite classy.

I am a size 8-10. I wish it came in blues and it would be perfect.

Is it a silly price and would you risk waiting for the sale?

I like it, I don't think it's a silly price at all. If you can afford it and like it, go for it.

I am a bit worrried about the polyester lining. And I'd need to order 2 as I am always between an 8 and a 10 in Boden fitted dresses.

I must admit a polyester lining would worry me too, they always seem to split on me.

Listen to your gut if you look best in blues stick with it. I don't think the model looks that gorgeous in the colours of the dress so it won't work for everyone.

On the other hands I often order excess items from Boden and they refund very quickly. For example I ordered last wed, received package on Friday, mailed back on Mon -- credited back to my account on Thursday. So I order and try on tons.

I also keep notes on my sizes and wait for sales; but I recall last winter they may have had 30% off limited edition right before the sale and several items were cheaper with the discount than the sale price.

I'm fairly underwhelmed by it, colour isn't flattering on the model at all.

its boring. if your going to spend that money make it on something that will make you look good, that would only make a model look good.

Brices · 17/03/2012 20:47

Sorry no, not a fan of that fabric

Sockspence · 17/03/2012 20:49

the print looks like some kind of skin disease (sorry Grin )

ForwardOcho · 17/03/2012 21:22

I really like it. I'd missed it cos I only ever look at the above knee dresses. Although the print is large, the fabric texture and the subtle colouring doesn't make it garish at all. Try it now. You might lust after it for weeks, only to find that it doesn't fit or is horrid. I did that with a coat once. Shunned all others in anticipation of its loveliness. Bought it in the sale from ASOS. It arrived. It was shit. Don't put yourself through that.

ameliagrey · 17/03/2012 21:52

well dear MNs I have ordered it in a 10. The sizing appears on the small side so will try the 10 and see.

Have an open mind about the colour- it is called Vanilla but has a lot of pale grey in it which is MY colour so would look good maybe with a cropped cardi or even nude shoes/cardi.

I like the texture in the pics but the downside for me will be the size of the print as I am only 5 3"- might overwhelm but I suit fitted shift dresses. will report back.

£120?!?!? My goodness. I wouldn't pay that for it. But I do quite like it.
