I don't know if it will be a waste of money...

Well, I haven't personally for that particular problem, but Botox can and will lift the brow and this can make all the difference. There is a poster called Alousereg who has it partly for this purpose so hopefully she will lob and talk to you!

Hi yes I have Botox every 4 months or so and yes it does work - the only drawback is it is something I feel I need to keep up so have to make sure I have enough cash put by to pay for it. The Botox does lift the brow slightly and doing this raises the eyelids

Are they naturally hooded or is it just age related? If age related there may be crepeyness too and I don't know if Botox will do anything for that. Makeup applied correctly can do a lot for naturally hooded eyes.

I'm a professional aesthetic nurse & just wanted to give you some advice re: Botox and hooded lids. Botox works by deinnervating the muscles and so if injected correctly can lift your brows but won't give any effect to hooded lids. The best treatment for hooded lids is cosmetic surgery; an 'eyelid' lift and most reputable clinics do this procedure. It is the most popular cosmetic surgery currently carried out. Botox is great for relaxing lines & wrinkles mostly in the upper face; vertical frown lines, forehead frown lines, crows feet and is also used for vertical lip lines, sweating, migraines, neck lifts & bunny lines.
I hope this info helps.

Look up makeup tutorials for Asian or almond shaped eyes.

Here is a tutorial.

Good one for hooded eyes too.
