Love the Whistles one Smile.

The whistles one if you are slender, tall and not too big of bust. The Tibi one if you are short (it will prob be very short if you are tall). Both lovely though!

PooPooInMyToes · 16/03/2012 17:44

Both lovely! Personally id go for the blue but only because i suit blue and really don't suit red. Which do you suit?

Btw very jealous of your budget. Mines usually ten quid off ebay!

chocolateandcoffee · 16/03/2012 17:56

there both lovely. i really love the blue, I think you would need to be very slender to pull it off though.

JellyBelly10 · 16/03/2012 18:44

I know you weren't asking for more dress suggestions but I just had to link you to this one....
Coast Dress
I never ususally buy dresses as I hate my arms/waist/stomach....the list goes on... but I bought this dress and it is the most flattering and beautiful dress ever!!!! They don't have many sizes left on-line but I've seen them in Coast shops and Coast departments in department stores.

willybreeder · 16/03/2012 19:14

I love the blue lace dress and the Coast one

PooPooInMyToes · 16/03/2012 19:20

Can't let the coast link to work.

ballroomblitz · 16/03/2012 19:22

I was swung on the cobalt one until I looked at the back and side view of the Whistles one - now I'd go for that.

sobenobu · 16/03/2012 19:23

The Whistles one.

The blue would be fine if standing all night but as soon as you sit it would be riding up. Tablecloths wold be long though, I'm assuming?

taffila · 16/03/2012 19:28

the blue one is very short - you would have to be a skinny minny. Im not sure it looks as lux as its price tag - also i think it will date quickly.

If you have that kind of budget why not buy an investment piece like a v. westwood anglomania dress and dress it up with fab shoes and bracelet. I think you would get a lot more use out something like that especially if you dont go out much. you could dress it down dor day wear.

snowmummy · 16/03/2012 19:31

Is that blue one a dress? Don't bend over will you? It is a lovely colour though.

alwaysrunninginheels · 16/03/2012 19:33

Love the coast one!!!! Now off to google the Westwood!!!!!!
Know what you mean about the length of the blue one......was working on the theory the model is 5'10" so at 5'6" it would be 4 inches longer.... Suspect the logic will be flawed!!!!

Do you need curves for the westwood. I am very straight up and down with a serious lack in the boobs department. But the long sleeved blue and white one looks fab! Thought Westwood would mainly suit girls with a good shape rather than planks like me!!!

why dont you try putting your measurements into Dressipi and see what it recommends for dresses. Lits of threads about this sites recently- can give some good ideas.
