How would you accessorise this dress for a smart wedding

I've got an uber smart wedding to attend in June and have been hunting out a frock in the sales this week, and think I'm going to buy this but am now fretting about what to put with it.

I have a large black hat, not dissimilar to this which is my go to hat for most weddings, but I'm worried that a big hat looks odd with the frock and then I get stuck. I'm not a fan of fascinators, but have been looking at saucer hats on a headband (example) though I'm not sure whether they count as fascinators, and are thus to be avoided like the plague, or just scrape into being hats. Or do I go for something small and pillbox like?

I also want/need shoes and to work out whether a jacket will work (if not I'll go down the wrap route, of which I have plenty). Do I need something delicate or can I get away with a more structured shoe that I'll wear again.

Or should I go back to the drawing board?

I would avoid frills on the hat as too much going on on the dress already with the intricate fabric.

I would so be tempted to go all sultry shanghai doll with a pillbox and voilette.

Like the shoes but with this I'd go retro patent leather black stiletto or peep toe.

then of course tone down the make up

Thank you - am leaning towards the pillbox myself.
