oh god ,too

Frenchgirl · 01/02/2006 17:18

quite simple really cod

clear your wardrobe, go to charity shop

and start anew

then you can justify buying new clothes

what do you do with beads???

bundy · 01/02/2006 17:19

what about Therapy Through Shoes? (perfect when carrying an extra few lbs)

Merlin · 01/02/2006 17:19

so do I - but need to lose a bit of weight too and really don't know what to buy - just want something!!!!

Merlin · 01/02/2006 17:20

nice new coat and cheery colour - knee length I think - fancy green maybe?

MrsSpoon · 01/02/2006 17:21

Same-ish problem, I do desperately need jeans, so can't say I don't need anything but need to lose at least 6lbs before I will be happy with what I try on. Boring but trying to tackle the 6lbs before the jeans, yesterday's shopping trip was depressing I was a carrot muffin in the jeans.

Mascaraohara · 01/02/2006 17:22

beads??? beads?? I am avoiding this bead thing that's going on at the minute as I remember my mum wearing them when I was growing up.

Get some hats, bags and underwear if you need a fix

MrsSpoon · 01/02/2006 17:24

Bought some pants and a new bag yesterday, it was almost exciting!

Frenchgirl · 01/02/2006 17:27

really fancy the white jacket, belt and skirt combo

Merlin · 01/02/2006 17:28

very nice FG - if only I had a waist that small!

bundy · 01/02/2006 17:29

there's a lovely polka dot top on the front page of the Top Shop website. sigh.

MrsSpoon · 01/02/2006 17:30

Very nice, Frenchgirl, presume you are nice and slim .

Frenchgirl · 01/02/2006 17:33

could be slimmer......
I also need to lose a few pounds (between 6 and 8 would be good) Hate dieting!!

it is a myth that 'Frenchwomen don't get fat'
I could have murdered the idiot who wrote this book when it came out

MrsSpoon · 01/02/2006 17:42

I imagine you not unlike the model in the link, she looks very French.

MrsSpoon, if only!! I do have dark hair and am tall, that's where it ends....

Frenchgirl · 01/02/2006 17:50

you'd wear the white jacket with white capris?? that's asking for trouble

MrsSpoon · 01/02/2006 18:09

Cod, please put me out of my misery, I have been trying to find this polka dot top for about 20 mins!

bundy · 01/02/2006 18:16

no to double breasted anything, unless it's a cottony peacoat
