Lipstick/Lipstain that stays on. Holy Grail or possible?

Like the one in Sushi for Beginners, I have been on a lifetime quest to find a lip colour that stays on longer than 10 minutes. Not too much to ask you might think?

But I'm still feckin looking.

So please for the love of Baby Cheezus if you know of ANY product, price no object, that does this, will you please share your wisdom?

My latest effort was Max Factor Lip Stain thing which was worse than useless and left me with a lipliner, sans lipstick effect, a bit like I'd tried to draw around my mouth with marker pen. Not a good look.

TIA oh wise fashionistas

I am looking for the same thing! I have heard that Becca Beach Tint is good but haven't tried it yet. I've also read good reviews about Tarte Lipsurgence Natural Matte lip tint but again haven't tried it. They're not cheap though not ridiculous. I'm procrastinating. Would love to see if anyone has experience of these or any other recommendations!

I believe that in The Last Chance Saloon Tara ended up with a lipstick-sealer arrangement after failing to find an indelible lipstick Wink.

Maybelline 24hr (double ended, lipgloss-looking packaging) one is very good, solid colour so you have to apply it perfectly as it is a bugger to get mistakes off. This is the only proper scarlet red I have found that lasts, in fact it's so intense-looking I only use it on stage!

My other old standby is Ultraglow, found on Ebay, it's those ones that allegedly change colour to suit you though they all come out electric pink on me (which does suit me luckily.) Quite impossible to remove though you do need to refill the middle occasionally.

Oh the Max Factor lipstains do taste rather delicious though Smile.

Maybelline Superstay, been using it for years and have to vigourously rub off at end of day

The holy grail (if they still make it) is Kanebo lipstick. I bought one yeeeears ago (would have been about 1992) and it stayed on, through a night on the piss, and eating, and shagging, and right through to the next morning. (it was a bit scary actually!) You were conned encouraged to buy the lipstick remover that went with it.

It cost about £20 then, so feck knows how much it would be now.

I always think of this Kanebo one when I read Last Chance Saloon (just re-read for the nth time)
