i haven't done a thing to my hair for months. i left it alone totally while i was pregnant and it is quite long.
it looks stunning when i first brush it in the morning, but soon gets tangled and spends most of its time tied back otherwise ds has handfuls of it.
naturally i'm a very mousey, nondescript brown, which is somewhere between curly and straight and quite fine. i normally dye it quite dark brown but am wondering whether it would look better if i went lighter for a change.(i like the colour of Trinny's hair at the moment, kind of honey shades)i'm not pale skinned but not tanned or olive, have hazel eyes and am a petite person.
i just have this fear of hairdressers......they never seem to pay attention to what my hair needs.if i can work out what i want before i go i stand a chance of getting it!!
i used to be quite daring and have had my hair all shades and lengths, i just seem to have got into a 'ponytail rut'

any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I love the colour of Trinny's hair and if you can keep up with the regrowth, go for it.
Get a few hair magazines and cut out styles you like then discuss them with the hairdresser to find out what will work best for you...a good stylist will advise you as to what will be best for your hairtype/face shape etc
Lucky you, I am so in need of a makeover, I'm 35 weeks PG and in dire need of a style overhaul!!!
