Decent mascara that won't make my eyes itch - any recommendations please

I keep getting really itchy eyes and it seems that is probably down to my mascara. I don't wear it every day and the itchy eyes seem to occur after wearing it.

Is there such a thing as hypo allergenic mascara? Is it any good or will it be spread all down my face before I even get out of the fron door in the morning.(I am hard on mascara - too much eye rubbing which I why I don't wear it every day. Blush)

Oh and I don't think it is the age of the mascara that is the problem - it seems to happen whether it is new or old.

Thanks.

This one here

Not as thick as normal mascara, so you need an extra coat, but no parabens etc so no itching. And, as an added bonus, after I had been using it for 5 or 6 weeks I realised my eyelashes had become much thicker too.

Thank you to you both. I hadn't heard of either of those makes so your recommendations are really helpful.

I use Bare Minerals or Blinc as I have the same problem, both are really good.

Also be careful with your eye makeup remover - go for an oil based one rather than an alcohol based one

Thanks for the extra recommendations. A couple of these brands have a green mascara I notice. I am an old fogey so haven't seen these before but I am tempted to give it a go. It does seem to be quite a dark green so hopefully it will enhance because if it doesn't, I would run the risk of looking like I had bee dredged up from the bottom of a pond with eye lashs decorated with pond weed - not much of an improvement on the watery red eyes I keep getting now! Smile

I will look into eye make up remover too although I haven't had much call for of late - my eyes are so itchy I have rubbed it off long before I need to take it off. Blush
