Please help me with a capsule wardrobe for work - casual office wear

I've recently taken a new job with a dress code far more relaxed than what I'm used to. I'm also returning to work after 12+ months of mat leave & feel very out of touch.

I bough some dark rinse skinny jeans yesterday but am struggling to find tops & dark coloured trousers so would really appreciate suggestions.

I'm 34, just under 5'4, size 14, 34GG norks & hourglass shape (according to dressipi!)

At the moment I'm living in this, 3rd one along top row as the length is great - sits on my hips & disguises 'saddle bags', and I like that it's light coloured but decent weight fabric.

I mainly wear ballet flats or converse in spring, flip flops/sandals in summer & riding style boots in winter.

I like layering but am dubious about all the floaty type tops I've seen in most high street shops as my bras all have thickish straps & I still have a bit of a belly from having 2 DC

Please help! I've an appointment with a JL personal shopper but it's 2 weeks away & I want to shop NOW Grin and DH is out tonight so I can spend online in peace Wink

I've loads of dresses to wear for smater days/client meetings so am looking for tops, more skinnies/some type of narrow leg trousers, a nice cardi or two as I'm always cold, scarves & maybe some sort of jacket/blazer.

TIA

Hi Off Day, I've been in a similar situation in going from a formal dress code to casual. I really rate Bibico for decent casual clothes, I lived in this top during the winter and will be ordering some of their dresses for summer. Someone else recommended Uniqlo skinny jeans on another thread. I haven't tried them but I can recommend their chinos. I wore these loads for work last summer and as there is a promotion at the moment I've just stocked up for SS12. Hope this helps!

Oooh, lots of nice dresses on there & I love their stripey tops - thanks Leia!
