Just had my last ever baby. Now I need clothes!

Not bought anything for years so I just trashed everything I had while I was pregnant. I am starting completely from scratch!

Trousers will have to wait a bit, belly still too wobbly Grin.

I'm bf so low neck to pull down or things that can be pulled up.

So far I have www.next.co.uk/x49122s1#822059x49 this, looks great with the bf norks, I'm tempted to get it in red too, and a long sleeved top with a scoop neck with a little bit of lace round it in blue. I have a jersey wrap dress in red too.

I need for now, a top/dress per day for a week and kintware to go with it, keeping it simple, practical but pretty with colours that got together. I need some shoes too, nice, to go with trousers or skirts but which will walk 5 miles or so a day up and down cycle paths. My bags and coats are 99% brown. I like blues and turquoises.

Budget cheapy highstreet. Internet shopping is good, round here I can get to a Next, FatFace and a BHS, that's pretty much it. Or I can pretend to be a teenager and venture into NewLook.

Height, size, bits you want to hide etc needed?

I am assuming you want to emphasise bazookas and artfully draw attention away from tum? Grin

For dresses, I say go for jersey material with patterns/prints, preferably wrap dresses or similar style. Comfy and good for BF-ing, but the patterns are flattering to lumps and bumps (I find plain colours drew attention to these).

Spring stripey one?

Cheap as chips stripey

Cheap as chips spotty

East

More East

Animal Print

More spring-like spotty

If you prefer plain colours, something like this from Dickins and Jones

Or with a more fashionable drape front like this

Nordstrom - would look nice with a little cardi over the top

Will be back....

RedFlagFlying · 10/03/2012 11:53

Boden and Isabella Oliver are more pricey but are the places to go for this type of dress, btw...

Indith · 10/03/2012 12:12

Thanks, East stuff looks nice, expensive though :(

average height, size 10. Nothing too tight around the tummy Grin. NOrkage is good but won't last forever and under normal circumstances is nothing to shout about.

Dorothy Perkins has got a good online sale at the moment.

Next have some decently priced jersey dresses - £30-ish.

Don;'t dismiss the teenybopper shops like New Look - they have some good finds sometimes.

I love this and this - very cute for Spring

If you are a size 10 you can get away with so many styles, despite post-natal tum! Zara?

H&M and wear with cardi?

summery H&M and cheap as chips

Indith · 10/03/2012 13:16

Oh I like one of those H&M ones.

I hate shopping, I need a personal shopper to go do it all for me.
