Leggings or 100 denier tights?

So tomorrow night I'm wearing a long top which doubles its uses as a very short dress. I'm not overly confident about my legs but am only a size 10/12 so can carry it - however I'd need my pins covered up by either leggings or 100 denier tights. Would the tights be too tarty since the dress is so short?

no you would get away with it if they are thick enough. I wear primark bodyshaper tights 120 denier opaques as leggings, am a 10 and they look fine.

If its a "is it a top, is it a dress " type thing, definitely go for the leggings, just wrong otherwise.... In my opinion.

Agree with spookey, go for leggings.
