I need to know if the dress I spy in their catalogue is tremendously flattering or tremendously foul on me.

It's called Nuts and Bolts dress, and there's a plain version called Sandringham. I had a similar dress from Topshop years ago which had fabric that draped across the bust, but red wine killed it. I can't tell if the pleating would miss the bust and hold in the waist instead, or whether it would just make me look like i have eighteen norks.

Think Fenwick's might stock Great Plains - give them a call and I'm sure they'll let you know.
John Lewis do too...

No Great Plains in John Lewis Oxford Street last week, I was looking for the Safira dress...
