I am looking for a long lasting lip tint that won't dry out my lips.

Which do you rate highly?

I can recommend one NOT to buy, Max Factor lip tint pens, they are totally shite.

I like Benetint - it's not specifically a lip tint but I use it on lips and it's great.

Interesting that people think the Max Factor (take it this is the Lipfinity pens?) is shite... When I first got that I was absolutely loving it for about a week, it stays on even when eating, my one was a great colour but then after a few days of constant use it really dried my lips and left them feeling awful. I didn't use it for ages and the pen seemed to almost dry up while I left it... now just used it again today with No 7 protect and perfect lip care underneath and a decent coating of Burt's Bees on top to stop it drying out, and it has worked well like that as far as I can tell so far. Lips feel fine and the extra stuff didn't affect the colour.

Curious to hear if there are better ones out there though! I also bought a Maybelline pen tint similar in format to the Max Factor but haven't actually used it.

Becca Beach Tint The colours are pretty strong so you only need a tiny amount but I love it and it is waterproof. IMO it is one of the best multi use, stick in your handbag items you can get.

I'm also a big fan of benetint and posytint but I don't think they have much staying power.

Clinique Black Honey... Like a balm so lovely & moisturising with a tiny bit odd colour.

Jellybellyrbest · 09/03/2012 02:47

Sorry, OF colour

About the only products I love from Benfit are Benetint and Poseytint which you can use on lips and cheeks - you have to make sure your lips are in good condition first and apply balm after. However Superdrug have brought out a copy cat version range called me meme and I think it's great.
I'm mourning the loss of L'Oreal glam shine 6hr gloss in a plummy shade, great glosses not sticky and stay on, they've discontinued the best colour, though it's worth checking the other shades out.
