Help! I need to find CHEAP green tops for St Patrick's Day parade this weekend!

My boss has asked me to help find green tops for all staff to wear on Sunday.

I need about 15 ladies' ones and a couple mens too if possible. They need to be plain and either a t shirt or blouse. They also need to be really cheap, no more than £10 absolute maximum.

Please help!! Smile

tesco

M25Meltdown · 06/03/2012 20:03

Tell your boss he is a cheapskate.

ItsMyLastOne · 06/03/2012 20:13

Thanks for the quick replies!

The first and last George ones may work. That tesco link didn't work Confused and one of the girls went to primark today but couldn't find any. Sad

It's not that he's a cheapskate at all. He's already going to have to spend around £150 on tops which will be worn once and parade day has cost a bloody fortune in stock already. The business' bank balance is taking a battering!

Do you need them for weekend? Thought St Patrick's day was the weekend after..? Maybe you're doing an early parade Smile

ItsMyLastOne · 06/03/2012 20:44

The parade is always the Sunday before St Patrick's day, unless it falls on a Sunday. Smile

That's here anyway, it's always on the day in Ireland IIRC.

I have never heard that, where about are you? (if you don't mind me asking)

ItsMyLastOne · 06/03/2012 22:16

Birmingham. It wouldn't make sense to have a parade on a weekday for example so it's always just the sunday before. Smile (My boss' wife is the organiser of the parade in Birmingham)

Well we all know in Birmingham, the parade is the Sunday before the actual day and the wife is organising it!?!

I would have thought about this months ago! Good luck, see you there in your green tshirts!!!!
