Anyone got the Great Plains Song Birds dress?

This one

I bought one online and it's just arrived. The neckline seems quite low and loose ? there's enough excess fabric that it sort of 'folds' over itself and outwards, IYSWIM ? and I wondered what others' experience and opinion of it was?

I'm not sure I could go down a size as it's quite snug round the waist and hips. Is the neck just meant to be quite relaxed in style?

I don't own one, but you can see in the picture that it does that...

But it looks OK on her because she's a model, and is posed ... I don't know if it looks similarly acceptable on a real person.

FFS! Have only just noticed in my OP: whenever I try to type an en-dash it turns into a question mark. I sound as if I''m speaking with that annoying meaningless upward inflection. Please understand that I am not. I'm way too old and stuffy

I ordered four of them in various sizes and colours and sent them all back because the fabric just didn't hang right - creases in places I wasn't expecting.

I thought the fabric was poor quality.

Mine is a bit creased. I'm hanging it and giving it the benefit of the doubt for now, hoping that they're just creases from being folded and packed.

I do like the print and the cut and length of the dress so I hope it comes good!
