I have a do on Saturday and a nice dress to wear but am grey and pasty atm. I decided I would have a spray tan on Friday to help allieviate my greyness.

I have a lady(friend of a friend) coming to the house to do the tan. She has told me I should be exfoliating well moisturising all week but must not have any perfume, deodrant or mositurisers on my skin when I have the tan or I will turn green Shock.

I understand I should sleep in spray tan and shower it off Saturday when I get off. Pat myself dry.

But can I use moisturiser on my legs afterwards? deodrant (Dove creme stick)? make up on my face? How will I know I wont turn green?

I have a manic day Saturday. I have to be up at the crack of dawn and have a 2 long drives ahead of me. One to my DDs school 2 hours away and then onto my evening venue another 3 hours away. So any advice and tips and how to not go green but not orange would be gratefully received from any spray tan experts out there.

Also - do I need to panic if it rains on Saturday? Will I go stripey Hmm?

Spray tan lady says she uses Fake Bake btw.

If you are getting your tan on the friday night, sleeping with it on then showering in the morning you will be absolutely fine wearing deodrant and make up on the saturday! No dont panic if it rains on saturday either. Wink

Thank you ToxicToria. Yes, my spraytan is being done at 4.30pm on Friday.

Can anyone tell me how I know I have finished rinsing the tan on the Saturday morning.

The shower water will run clear Smile

Just shower and wash as normal and it should all rinse off fine Smile

Bear in mind that after the lady applies the tan on Friday, you won't be able to wash your hands, do the dishes, or bathe the kids and that you will look as if you have dirt smeared all over you (or at least that's what happened to me).
