I am now averaging three trips to the pool a week - with children's lessons and such - my skin feels completely dehydrated and a bit worried about what is going to happen to my blonde ( highlighted hair) and advice/ product recommendations gratefully received( esp. If they are inexpensive ). Right now just slathering on cheap lotion and extra conditioner.

When i swam frequently I used sorbolene cream as a soap. Aqueous cream as a soap would work as well. I've been known to wash my hair with sorbolene too as it get the chlorine smell out.

I have never heard of sorbolene cream... Off to research

I second aqueous cream instead of soap very moisturising.
When I go swimming I dampen my hair and put conditioner on it before I go in it will stop the chlorine getting in your hair and it's conditioning your hair at the same time

I use almond and olive oil (also swim three or four times p week). Colour needs doing more frequently tho.

I put it on before i swim, then wash with baby shapoo and cond after.
