I handwash mine, and they survived intact and unshrunk. I mean, the alpacas get wet, don't they? *

Grin at alpacas getting wet, fair point.*

Did you handwash handwash or machine wash on handwash setting btw?

I went the full lazy and handwashed on the machine handwash setting. Seriously though, I live way out there on the edge. Wait for the sensible dry-cleaning folk of this world to weigh in.

I hand knit alpacca sweaters, and i wash them in the machine. On 30 degrees wool cycle, with the special detergent/soap for wool and silk.

Just cerrazy butlikesalt....I like the way you roll Grin

Saralyn, thanks for extra reassurance. Do you sell your sweaters or knit them just for you?
