Eeeek - never been to a rugby game at Twicks before & now I'm off to Eng v Barbarians which I gather is a biggy (??)

I assume I should wear (flattering!) jeans & (nice!) jumper with Converse shoes, something along those lines?

Not special tickets but am going with someone I want to impress Wink

Thanks in advance.

i usually wear an across the body bag for the rugger, to put your hipflask and program and stuff in.

If you have an iphone try to get an app which will give you live commentary because sometimes if play is at the other end of the pitch its hard to follow what's going on exactly.

Also i sometimes take cans of G&T in my bag, that's at murrayfield though. Would that be acceptable at Twickenham.

Forget the paper. You're usually up and down like yo-yos letting people in and out.
Bags. Well I have always taken one but it's always been a BIG one to hold everything I might need. DDs came with me. Shoulder or cross body so you can have your hands free to take pics (especially before the match on the steps when the teams arrive :o)

Not sure about the cans. They do a very brief bag search. Don't do as I did one year and forgot that my tiny swiss army knife was in my bag. Pocket would have been fine. The knife was taken away to be collected after the match :(
Kept in my bag mainly for the tiny scissors....nails!
