Things I am looking for, if anybody fancies helping!

Item one - some really nice cigarette leg trousers that are a) not polyester, b) suitable for short arses, b) possibly 7 eighths length (although full length also fine) and d) either very dark grey or perhaps aubergine or something like that AND a silk top that would look nice with them (not too high necked for nork reasons)

Item two - a red military inspired jacket in a fairly light fabric (but not polyester)

Item three - some really comfortable shoes with a small wedge heel in either dark grey or tan (and ideally 50 pounds or less) and not too casual looking

Item four - a silk or cotton full skirt with a vibrant floral print that is knee length or just above/below

Thank you to anybody who can be bothered to help. :)

No idea but they sound like great items so I will lurk :)

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 04/03/2012 16:49

Agh - I got all excited then! :)

Are these any good for (3)...?

MrsSeanBean · 04/03/2012 17:05

a possibility for skirt ...??

MrsSeanBean · 04/03/2012 17:08

how about these for item 1?

(I have them in putty and am planning to buy in the other colours this season also - they are fab.)

Msarsebiscuit · 04/03/2012 17:16

That all sounds gorgeous, is this any good for the jacket ? item.mobileweb.ebay.co.uk/viewitem?itemId=330640178736
I did see another very lovely one but on closer inspection it was designed for men, albeit androgynous, semi-naked moody types judging by the photos.

ggirl · 04/03/2012 17:36

cigarette trews

I have never bought from wall so no idea of quality etc

mirpuppet · 04/03/2012 17:49

no recommendations -- but impressed you have a list. I need to make one :o

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 04/03/2012 18:27

Thank you. :)

Those Autograph shoes would be pretty much perfect except too glossy and they are wide-fit and I have narrow feet.

Don't like the skirt - am a shortie so Phase Eight 'knee length' is way too long for me. Not fond of those colours either.

Like the WC trousers but want darker grey and not so obviously cropped.

The Ebay jacket is ace - but I need to be able to buy from a real shop.

No to linen.

Keep em coming though please, folks - this is really helpful.

Btw - were the, 'androgynous, semi-naked moody types' also for sale? :)

BellaVita · 04/03/2012 18:37

theses shoes?

knitknack · 04/03/2012 18:51

nice wedges

knitknack · 04/03/2012 18:52

these for example

knitknack · 04/03/2012 18:56

shame this is (mostly) polyester

knitknack · 04/03/2012 19:08

???

knitknack · 04/03/2012 19:11

drool

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 04/03/2012 19:11

I like those shoes Bella but need a real shop, not online only. The trousers are a good shape but the fabric is too wintry and they are black.

Love the grey wedges but again, tis online rather than a real shop.

Don't like the jacket - it's too 'coat-like' and I need one for wearing indoors.

Thank you though. :)

These trousers are fab, have seen in real life. See these pix for what they look like on.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 04/03/2012 19:16

Liking the Moschino skirt - something like that for half the price would be great! :)

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 04/03/2012 19:19

Sadly I have neither the figure nor the bank account to buy anything from The Kooples.

OP posts:
Pseudonymity · 04/03/2012 19:30

Do you like the style of the Kooples ones? Could keep my eyes peeled for something a bit less budget-busting.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 04/03/2012 19:35

Yes please! And remembering that (unlike the Kooples models) I am only 5'2 and have a belly!

OP posts:
BellaVita · 04/03/2012 19:36

Remus, I missed you said you needed a real shop.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 04/03/2012 19:44

Not a problem Bella - your ideas were v good!
