Two questions for any skincare gurus out there

I recently decided to splash out (for me anyway) and buy a decent moisturiser. I went for the Aveda tourmaline charged one. Since using it though, my skin feels sore and rashy and not very nice at all.

Anyway my questions are

1. Can I take the cream back and ask for a refund?
2. Does anyone have any recommendations for another moisturiser?

My skin is sleep deprived, turning forty next year and looking a bit haggard.

1. definitely, where did you buy it? they should exchange for something else
