Starting early to prepare summer legs

This is what happens every year:

Wear jeans / leggings / woolly tights & boots all winter. To hell with depilation or moisturisation.
In April-ish, get legs out, scream, put them away.
Spend a good few hours deforesting them, to find they are dry and pale and miserable.
Have a bash with fake tan stuff (e.g. the Johnson & Johnson one that's meant to build up each day), decide it's doing nothing.
Dress each day according to leg hair / colour status, rather than in what I want to wear.
Count down days to September & start of woolly tight season.

This year I really really want to be different, not least because I have a new job so will have to look reasonably smart rather than hiding in jeans.

I sense I will need to start the project early but tbh, I don't even know what I need to do. Some women have legs in nice condition, I don't.

(P.S: Legs themselves are long & slim. It's not as though there aren't raw materials to work with Grin)

Slap loads of moisturiser on them after showering. I've started early this year too.

start scrubbing those knees and ankles, use a body brush or one of those nylon shower pouffe/scrubby things

and moisturise moisturise moisturise!!

I hate that scaley ankle skin especially

OK, so I'll start slapping on tonnes of moisturiser. What about hairiness and pastiness?

I'm with you. I decided at the weekend that I need to get my legs looking decent this year. Mine look like lizard skin. I'm slathering on the moisturiser to get the skin hydrated. I'll then tackle the milk-bottle colour!

The other thing I'm focused on is getting my feet smooth so that the cracked heel thing doesn't strike when I start to wear sandals & flip-flops

Dove gradual tan is great,imo.
Start exfoliating and moisturising now, then progress to Dove 2 or 3 times a week.

I'm in, am so pale I worry about causing pile ups due to glare Sad.
Have bumps on my knees for some weird reason this year, any ideas what I can do to these?
Also what fake tan shoulod I use? I've tried DOve and Johnsons one but haven't got on with them. Can anyone remember what one is the one you put on over night and then shower in the morning? Or have I made that one up?

I use Palmers Skin Smoothing lotion with AHA (the one in the blue bottle) Lovely and light, sinks in quickly and leaves legs smooth and shiny. Is also great for preventing in growing hairs (just don't use it straight after defuzzing - stings like hell!)

here

Have started moisturising here to. I have very pale, scaly fat, untoned legs but not this summer! I am doing ok on SW at moment so hoping for a slimmer, more moisturised me come the summer Smile
