Silicone implants for sale

Maybe I am out of touch, but I only discovered today that you can buy silicone implants for your bra, in M&S. They cost £25 though, so not something I would just buy on impulse. Anyone know about them? Do they work? Are they worth it? I would love to be buxom, even if only occasionally.

Yes I saw them in M&S. I even got them out of the packet and gave them a squeeze. But you are not allowed to try them on, so how do I know if they are any good?

My friend had one come loose at her work Christmas party. Ended up at the back of her bra, giving her an amusing hump for the rest of the evening.

codnotmud · 28/01/2006 20:57

lol

Lonelymum · 28/01/2006 20:58

Sticks tongue out at Cod's luxuriant bosom.

LOL at hump in the back. I rather imagined they sometimes went walkabout.

Will no-one admit to being a bit small on top and trying them out? I thought Mumsnetters knew everything!

alexsmum · 28/01/2006 21:06

oh my good god, they are the last thing i need!

Lonelymum · 28/01/2006 21:08

Thanks Alexsmum for making me feel inadequate! I DO need them (or want them anyway) Am I the only small chested lady here?

alexsmum · 28/01/2006 22:23

sorry lonelymum, but my bazongas are just out of control and i think anyone who is lucky enough to be small chested should revel in it.wear tight tops, jump up and down , buy yourself lots of pretty cheap bras. glory in them honestly...i would if i had them

Lonelymum · 29/01/2006 10:53

Oh believe me Alexsmum, I do! When dh was away last week, and I was wearing big baggy jumpers and so on against the cold, I went braless for a couple of days and it was wonderfully liberating!

But sometimes a girl would like to be buxom, if only to fit a low cut dress. Is there really no-one here who has tried them?

I do use them, bought them in Lasenza and they are actualy quite good. You need to buy a bra one size bigger to accommodate the fillets. They do stick to your boobs after you have worn them for a while, a bit cold at first. You can also insert them into some bras that lasenza do, they are called air bras or something similar. I can finally wear nice underwear after breastfeeding two childern.

And when undressed 006?

This is the thing with any sort of padding. Looks great when you're clothed. Bloody disappointing when you're not.

we once had a parcel mistakenly delivered to us containing two porn dvds and some 'magical bust firming' cream..

we laughed at the time, but i am tempted now post pregnancy..hehehe

Lonelymum · 31/01/2006 19:19

Aimsmum, yes, I do wear pushed up bras and even padded ones on occasion, although I never reckon padded bras really make your boobs look bigger.

What I was wondering was whether, in warm weather, you could use these implants whilst wearing a low cut top, and really look as though you have a larger bust than you have. 006 appears to have told me you can.

If you have to wear a bra size bigger (I take it that means a cup size bigger) do you also have to wear a dress size bigger though? It would be abit pointless having these implants if you couldn't fit into any of your ordinary clothes.
