I like them but they would spend most of their life in the washer, i just got some navy ones and am late 30s.

How are these different from normal converse? I know they have a double tongue but how does that matter if you wear jeans over them? I've been looking at them for a while but not sure if there's any point me getting them.

I've just ordered navy ones and I'm 40. Do not spend your 30s thinking you're too old for stuff. For that matter, if you're happy and have good legs, wear a mini skirt when you're 60!

Seriously - you're not too young for converse. Nobody but Mums wear them anymore!

I'm not a big fan of them, but you definitely do not need to worry about being too old for them.
