I need a dress for summer wedding and am clueless. Please help!

Wedding is in mid August and fairly posh (with lots of city types). Not my bag at all, but it's a good friend so I must make an effort.

Have nothing suitable and no idea what to look for. Am hoping I can bag a cheeky bargain in the sales. Am size 12 (or 10 on a good day), and much more toned that I used to be, thanks to shredding. Don't want anything too restricting/strappy for the end of night disco .

Would like to spend as little as possible though don't want to look cheap, iyswim.

You know anthropologie has lovely posh stuff but v expensive! Can't link as am on phone with sleeping baby on one arm..have a look, their dresses are delightful!

10 or 12, depending on cut. Could perhaps stretch to £70, but would have to be something I'd use again.

Have you looked at the outlet section of eBay? Lots of big stores with massively reduced prices....

Agree with Gwennie, find something better quality but reduced in the sales. There's this in the ebay HoF section
