Late-April Wedding - are black trousers acceptable?

Or will I look like I'm on a works outing?

I'm coming over to the UK for a friend's wedding. I've been living in Germany for the past 6 years, so feel a bit behind in the fashion-stakes. I have a really smart pair of Karen Millen trousers that I thought I could get away with, and just buy new top-half attire.

Is that naff? Any other ideas?

I'm 5'7", between a size 10-12, still bf my little boy so still needing 'access' for him.

Any help would be very gratefully received!

I think that in black trousers, however nice the trousers are, you will quite likely feel under-dressed and 'corporate' next to other female guests who will most likely be in dresses.

Something like a wrap dress would give good BF access?

I would say no to black trousers I'm afraid. Yes they can be dressed up and look fab, but they really just aren't wedding attire I think

Ah bugger - I thought as much!

Aworryingtrend, a wrap dress is a good option - I'd better get searching!

Thanks

Inclined to agree with the others (and I love black trousers in my wardrobe as they are so versatile) but I think you need a dress for a wedding these days.

this is lovely- and cheap too!
