Just discovered an eye make up remover - Oil of Olay, it's in a white tube and £1.50 in Tescos atm.

It's a cream so very similar to removing your eye make up with Liz Earle's Cleanse and Polish. I used a warm muslin cloth instead of cotton wool and it's really really effective (I wear LOADS of waterproof mascara!)

In fact I prefer it to C and P as Liz changed the formula a while back and I haven't forgiven her yet Wink

Thanks for that, it sounds good, I will definitely check it out. I do love C&P however a cheaper alternative would be great!

Is this the one? (I need to learn now to do proper links)

Vaseline is a brilliant eye make up remover - and even cheaper Smile

valiumredhead · 21/02/2012 10:25

Yes that's the one lily Grin

Vaseline is horrible though and makes your eyelashes all gunky and sticky!

Not if you remove with a warm cloth valium
and it has the added benefit of conditioning the lashes

Aha! I haven't ever done it with a warm cloth - will remember that tip!
