curly hair with a fringe

My hair is just above my shoulder and half way between wavy and curly withsome layers. Could i have a fringe or would it look awful?
Usually just wash it and put on a bit of serum, then then its dry twist a few sections around the straightener to do a few smoth curls.
Need a change and been looking at some photos and think my forhead is far to big. fringe would cover it up.

As long as you don't go for the <a class="break-all" href="http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?q=michelle+duggar+hair&um=1&hl=en&biw=1680&bih=925&tbm=isch&tbnid=cTQeIwVCL7tE7M:&imgrefurl=www.celebrities.com/celebrity-magazine/michelle-duggars-hair-is-a-thing-of-beauty/&docid=e5ntRx8RFGWcqM&imgurl=www.celebrities.com/wp-content/plugins/wp-o-matic/cache/52abe_michelleduggarhairisgorgeous.jpg&w=445&h=552&ei=6FM-T-OzMcSx8QOGrYGCCA&zoom=1&iact=rc&dur=349&sig=100494144776839558062&page=1&tbnh=138&tbnw=108&start=0&ndsp=46&ved=0CEkQrQMwAg&tx=78&ty=40" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Michelle Duggar you'll be fine.

Fwiw it's worth I have naturally wavy hair and a full fringe and I love it Smile

I tried having a full fringe and it didn't work on my hair. The right length of fringe was just at the point where I have a kink/curl beginning, so unless I straightened it every day it looked rubbish.

When I was younger I did have a feathered/fine fringe and that looked okay at the time, but my hair was longer and less curly due to the weight of it.

I have the same hair, I put serum all over then curl boost (missing out my fringe) I use straighteners just on my fringe.

Your fringe woudl have to be quite heavy and swept to the side, I woud say. Nothing feathered or fluffy

Bunny that's funny !
I always regret having a fringe cut. If you've got more than a wave going on, it's going to be a ball ache but if you're up for a challenge and a change a fringe is the way forward.

I find a heavier fringe easier to maintain. Some hairdressers try and do a wispy one but this just curls and kinks more easily.

Not all fringes make big foreheads smaller - just look at Emma Bunton
