What would you do with my hair?

I'm having a bit of a dilemma with my hair. I don't have a hairdresser at the moment since I seem to be unable to find a decent one in south east kent. Its shoulder length (ish) very fine and dark blonde. I'm seriously thinking of getting extensions but I don't know whether my hair will take them. I'm also thinking of changing the colour but I don't know if I should go with blonder or more brunette. WWYD?

im no hairdresser but i can imagine some lighter blonde highlights and some layers would make it look nice, and a bit thicker. of if you went extensions then a shoulder length bob, just a bit more volume. i definitely think blonder rather than darker although maybe warm it up with some red?

someone who knows what they're talking about will be along in a minute!

you look so young Envy

I'd say that extensions may not work on your hair - I'd go for some colour - probably blonder as you have a lovely fair complexion and probably some layers of some sort to funk it up a bit.

do you want to keep the length or would you go shorter?

I do have some clip in extensions and like the way they look when they're in, but my hair is too fine to hide the clips really, but I don't know if I would have the same problem with permenent ones? I could go shorter but its been bobbed to sort of chin length ish before and I really didn't like it. I want it to be more up to date, rather than just the stuff on top of my head, which it is at the moment!

btw thanks helpmeout, I don't feel particuarly young lol!

Some blond highlights and a few layers to make it look thicker. I wouldn't go for extensions tbh
