Orangey coral quilted Barbourish jacket - how to style?

I just bought one from tkmaxx. Its nicer than it sounds.

I thought it might go with cobalt jeans and (new) brown riding boots and some sort of scarf.

Dont really want to look like a Tory party stalwart.

Has anybody got any ideas please?

Mmmm. I think you need to be careful. I live in the middle of the countryside and what you have described is exactly what women wear in our Waitrose. Cobalt jeans - good. I would put them with converse, not riding boots. If your scarf is long and not a triangle, it could be OK. Can you belt the jacket with a good leather belt? Bright blue or green? Visible tats? The women in Waitrose don't had visible tats.

Good advice. Thank you. Liking the converse.

For just a moment there i read "visible tits" lol Most avant garde.

I was young. I was a bit cool. Now i have a labrador, a volvo and a coral quilted jacket. WHAT'S HAPPENING TO MEEEEEEEE?

B'sterd jackets going back to the shop.

That's my girl. I am pleased you said that. It wasn't for me to say..........

Hahaha. I was morphing into Norma Major.

Gonna add £00s to the budget and go to bloody Belstaff.

And swap tasteful lab for edgy bulldog.

I'm saved, saved..

Ha yes I know this problem. 4 barbour jackets that now dont see the light of day thanks to the over popularity with the Tory party wives club and football hooligans in my neck of the woods! Thinking of ebaying and replacing with a belstaff myself OP, they haven't quite caught on in these parts yet thankfully! Grin
