Help me find a lovely evening bag for £75

I thought you'd be the people to ask...

I need to find an evening bag as a special present for a friend. It must cost £70 - £75.

It needs to be something classic, a real "grown up bag" for special occasions that won't date.

Thanks ladies!

What style/colour.. some of these are lovely, I was sent code 'loveu' last week for 15% off..

Peony & Moore

I've bought from them before, beautiful quality..

It's worth a look on Not on The High Street - some really beautiful bags that I can't link to at the moment or alternatively, I bought my sister a very lovely vintage Japanese bag for Christmas - gorgeous and unique but they tend to be hard to track down.

Some lovely ones there, thanks! (I just don't really know where to look!) They all seem to be about £35 which doesn't hit the budget, or £600 which blows it!

That's beautiful! Just to clarify, this is a "clubbing together" kind of gift, so I'm totally out of my league anyway! Grin

Lovely to spend other people's money, isn't it?

I love the Lulu Guinness pink one linked to earlier.

Does it absolutely have to be £70-75? Could you not put some earrings/necklace in to get up to budget if you find the perfect one that's cheaper?

We found a great bracelet for a friend's 21st that was £110...reduced to £35. Between 5 of us. We were mortified that we would only be spending £7 each on her, so just got her a few other little bits.

hmm, well the way it works is: there are 4 of us and we decided last year that instead of buying 3 presents each, we would club together £25 each, and buy a "themed" present for each of our birthdays.

Last year was shoes.
This year is a nice classic evening bag.

So although we could put something else in it, it would go outside the theme for the year (and we might do bracelets next year!)

If the perfect one was cheaper, I guess we'd just split the cost and buy chocs for her!

Oooh, that's a fab way of doing birthdays.

I found a BCBG Maxazria one on the outnet that was reduced to £35 from £75, so if you could find a stockist they might have some nice ones?

What about leopard? this one's in sale or this one??
