DD1 (5yrs) told me I looked absolutely hilarious this morning

I had on what I think are a gorgeous pair of shoe boots (black suede) but was wearing them with a knee length skirt for work...maybe she was right and the skirt lenght looked silly but am paranoid now, I love them but can I wear these with skirts and dresses?

I wear my black suede shoe boots with knee length skirts and dresses (plus longer and shorter versions too).

Your DD is 5. Probably best not to take sartorial direction from her

My DD is the same!! I once bought a pair of skinny jeans and was wearing them with my knee high boots and she told me the top of my legs wobble in them!!! I was gutted and never wore them again!

My advice would be to not listen to the kids!!

The risk with taking style advice from a 5 year old is that you'll go to work wearing fairy wings and a sparkly tiara ....

Shoe boots and skirts? Sounds lovely to me. I think you shouldn't take fashion advice from a 5 year old. She would probably tell you that you look amazing in a pink fairy dress.
