Best supplements to encourage healthy hair?

my hair seems to have stopped growing on one side of my head! Can anyone suggest a good supplement for healthy hair growth? Many thanks in advnce

I would go to GP as that sounds quite odd.

Otherwise, I've been taking Boots Skin, Hair and Nails vitamin complex and my hair's been growing like the clappers.

Really not that long - about 3 months. It's really made a difference though - grown a good 2 and a half inches in the last 3 months which is very fast. I do seem to need to pluck my eyebrows more often too though and arm hair is slightly more noticeable (might just be winter and not bleached in the sun though) which isn't so great.
